Just another Black Friday Nonsense deal

M.A.C cosmetics had a 25% off online sale for Black Friday...great deal? NOT I purchased a foundation on the 27th of November on their 25% off sale...the system said there was stock and i paid via credit card...awaiting delivery which was supposed to be 5-7 working days. Today i go online to just check and see what the status is of delivery only for it to say cancelled...called into their 0800 number only to be told that the order was cancelled due to no stock and that they are arranging a refund but she cant confirm when the refund will go through. UNACCEPTABLE!!.No communication to say it was out of stock prior to me going online to check and see, surely they would have seen before today that there was not stock...How about a curtesy email OR phonecall M.A.C? The foundation was purchased for my daughters 21st this month, now i have to go home and tell her that she wont be getting the product as mom cant afford to pay the full retail price in the stores, nevermind the fact that i dont even know when my refund will come through! If you cant do a proper Black Friday then dont do it all, very disappointed :(
