half full mac foundation

i bought myself the MAC foundation nc45 2weeks ago from clear water mall in west of joburg and only to find out that the bottle was half full when i arrived home. i tried to contact them to complain and i was told that i should come to the store which i explained that i dont live around that area and the lady told me that they cant help me from wherever iam. am i supposed to now drive all the way to joburg where i bought the foundation from when i live on the other side of town,when i can be assisted from the nearest mac store?
