Counterfeit and damaged goods.

A woman I found online, who claimed to be selling original MAC cosmetics, sold me a package with MAC lipsticks, eyeshadows, makeup brushes, a teddy bear. I was purchasing it for my girlfriends birthday which was on December 13th 2015. I have been paying for it in terms, and my last payment was done in November 2015. It came to a total of R4500. <br> The package was delivered to a family member of mine on the 10th of December 2015 who kept it in their fridge as per the woman who sold me the cosmetics, instruction (she said it was due to the hot Durban weather). The package came wrapped in a clear plastic and was not tampered with. <br> <br> On the 13th of December 2015, I picked up the package for my girlfriend's birthday. When she opened it on that day she noted that it was **** MAC cosmetics, the goods were damaged - the lipsticks looked used and melted and some even broken inside the tube; the eyeshadow box was broken and the eyeshadow powder was used and damaged. <br> When we sent photos of some of the damage and the woman said she will compensate us for the damage but she needed to check with her supplier. She blamed the damage on the courier company. She didn't give us a refund 3 months on.
