Wrong policy sold
I bought my car in February 2019 at 28758km and the dealer sold me the Platinum Warrenty Bosster plan under liquid capital / m-sure, according to my documents my plan started on the 28th Feb and will run for 2 years but on the document it states that my policy duration is for 60 Montha. My car battrey died on Monday got it boosted through my vehicle insurance and after it still failed to started, so I called Roadside assist as I am covered for it, so the car was towed to a nearby dealership and on Tuesday they called and said that I needed to replace my car battrey. I looked at my documents i saw im covered for up to R1000 for a battrey replacement all I need was the claim to be approved from M-Sure as the dealer sent all the nessesary documents to them. To my surprise this morning I am not covered with the right policy but the documents I have say that I am. This is not my fault its the administrators fault who failed to do their job, at this moment i am told to cancel the policy and shouk I do that i will be liable for commission paid to the sales person and admin fee plus interest from the bank as my car is still under finance.
Please note I ma not willing to do cancel as it was not my faukt that someone failed to do the right thing under my policy, I am just the client what admin and finance do I cant control.
I am going to buy my battrey as i have been without a car for 3 days trying to sort out my car issues and I need it today.
Can someone who knows what to do their job contact me and someone who knows the urgency of this issue contact me as I will not tolerated such unprofessionalism.
Thank you so much Christal Meyer who kept me calm and updated, They should have more of her in the company..
