SA Warranties-very bad service, **************** and dismissing of clients

I took out a warranty with these people a few months ago. 2 weeks ago I hear a noise coming from my engine, immediately have the vehicle towed to my mechanic, they strip the vehicle and find bearing failure, submit the claim to SA warranties who then reject the claim based on the FACT that this is a pre-existing condition. How can they possibly state that it is a pre-existing condition when they never inspected my vehicle when I took out the policy???? They are basing their rejection on the OPINION of their assessor. They ask me if an oil pressure test was done? I said no, they say thats why they are rejecting the claim, did your assessor do an oil pressure test in order to reject my claim??? NO, then why the double standard??? In addition to this they are saying I have done so little mileage on the vehicle, how is it any of their business how much mileage I do on MY car? For information purposes, this is a weekend vehicle if that and NOT my primary vehicle.

The bottom line is they are rejecting my claim based on the OPINION of their assessor, that being said, my mechanics report is not good enough to reconsider the claim, he is a SPECIALIST IN HIS FIELD!!! They are using cheap tactics to get out of paying this claim and i find this to be a very ********* manner of doing business, typical case of "we'll take your money now and refuse you cover when you need it". My word, at the time of taking the policy, that there was no pre-existing conditions was ok for them to accept but now my word means nothing because you have my money already???

To top all this off, I was "dealt with" by a rather disgusting "claims supervisor" by the name of harshad vallab who was extremely dismissive of me and what I was telling him, cutting me off while speaking and almost shouting at me, this is disgusting behaviour, when I asked to speak to someone else he blanky tells me that, in the whole of SA warranties, he is the ONLY claims supervisor!!! I mean really???? I think SA warranties need to be more wary of the characters they hire to deal with clients.

I will be going to the ombudsman immediately with this issue as this type of service and thievery is just plain WRONG!!!
