One Year Later...

I posted my original review on Google four months ago, and my claim has now been ongoing for nearly a year since the incident on 15 June 2025, with still no meaningful resolution. As the policyholder, I continue to bear the worst of this experience: endless delays, poor communication, and zero accountability.

I ended up funding the repairs out of my own pocket, just to get my vehicle back on the road, because waiting for M-Sure simply was not an option.

For context, I am the Marketing Manager for a group representing prestige automotive OEMs. I deal with warranty and value-added product offerings daily, and I can say without hesitation: look elsewhere. If you are considering a value-added product from M-Sure, I would strongly urge you to reconsider. No customer should have to endure what I have been put through.

M-Sure's response to my original review was to direct me to their complaints email. The same cycle of deflection I have experienced throughout this entire process.

I will continue to update this review until my claim is resolved.

Thank you for your response,

With respect, the claim may have been "concluded" on your records in February 2026, but as the policyholder, I have yet to be reimbursed for the repairs I funded out of my own pocket. Because I simply could not wait any longer for M-Sure to act.

It has been nearly a year since the incident. I trust you can appreciate my frustration.

I have followed up on this claim on a weekly basis, and each time I am met with delays, vague responses, or silence. At what point, as a paying customer, can I expect this matter to actually be concluded, not just on your system, but in practice, with the money I am owed back in my account?

My wife is due to give birth at the end of this month. The funds I spent on repairs that should have been covered by my warranty are funds my family needed. This is no longer just an inconvenience, it is affecting my family's financial wellbeing at the worst possible time.

I am asking, plainly: what specifically needs to happen, and by when, for this claim to be finalised and payment made? I need a clear answer, not another instruction to email another address and wait.

Good day @Nhlanhla Khuzwayo, @Sheridan Le Pere & @Michael Dougall

Friendly reminder to not waste another day to respond to the below.

I write to follow up on my previous correspondence, to which I have not received a response. I respectfully request that this matter be afforded the urgency it warrants and that a response be provided without further delay.

For the record, I wish to highlight the following:
  1. This claim took approximately one year to be authorised. Now, post-authorisation, further due diligence is being conducted, raising serious concerns regarding M-Sure's internal processes and the unreasonable burden being placed on me as the customer.
  2. In the absence of meaningful engagement and resolution, I have exercised my right as a consumer to share my experience publicly via Google Reviews and HelloPeter. I am also prepared to escalate this matter further through all available channels, including but not limited to legal proceedings, should a resolution not be reached imminently.
  3. I have been more than transparent, cooperative, and patient throughout the duration of this claim. That patience, however, has been exhausted.
I am requesting, in good faith, that we bring this matter to a conclusion as a matter of urgency. I remain open to engagement, but I will not accept further unexplained delays.

Please treat this matter as urgent.

I reserve all rights in this matter.
