M Sure will not INsure, they ENsure stress and frustration

Words cannot describe the frustration I am experiencing with this insurer. I have an extended warranty with them for my business delivery vehicle. My vehicle was fixed in December 2020. On the 14th of December an email was received from Sean Govender confirming that an amount of R11960.50 is the amount that has been approved. I paid my mechanic the amount of R11960 from my own funds. The original invoice was for R14440, but because only R11960 was approved, my mechanic accepted this. I submitted all documents on 5th January required by MSURE in regards to the process of claiming. I received NO call or feedback after submitting the claim. On the 13th of January I called in, and the callcentre agent said it had been approved, and I will receive my money within 7 working days. Two weeks later, still no funds received. A lady by the name of Maphuti Kekana refused to assist me because she couldn't understand what was going on. She was extremely unhelpful. Not only did she seem ***********, but she was rude as well. Maphuti apparently escalated the claim to her Manager, that still hasn't contacted me. I keep on calling, the call centre refuses to put me through to the creditors department. Nobody bothers to email or call back. As a client you are just left to be out of pocket and no one is interested in assisting. I will never renew my warranty with Regent Insurance (underwritten by MSURE). As a small business owner with three delivery vehicles on the road, I need honesty and reliability from my insurers and suppliers. I do not have the time to sit on the phone endlessly. I also cannot wait endlessly for money that is mine. If I am not paid out and sorted out as a priority, I will be left with no choice to refer the matter to the consumer complaints commission of SA. I also feel that clients need to be made aware of the reality of what clients have to deal with when an actual claim is put in. They need to hire competent people or re-look the way they do business.
