M Sure Vehicle Warranty

I have had M Sure vehicle warranty for the last few years in anticipation for when my car was out of motor plan.

Last week I had a break down on the side of the road and got a tow truck to tow my car to the nearest dealership, (the only one I know as I am not from that town).

I called M-Sure to get them to assist me with my incident. For an entire day I was sent from pillar to post by a number of their agents in the claims department. I faced various requests for supporting documentation which I sent speedily.

Their policy states that in an emergency you can take your vehicle to a 'dealership, either the manufacturing dealer or a repairing dealer, approved by the manufacturer' Eventually I asked the dealer to repair to my vehicle as I would have no other way of getting (****ms away), My thinking was that the claim would in any event get approved as I had repaired the vehicle in an emergency and also used an RMI approved dealer who by virtue of being and RMI dealer is subsequently accredited by the 'original manufacturer'

For the most part the agents I dealt with were terribly rude and very unhelpful.

I have submitted my claims as if their policy states and even a week later I still do not even have a response.

I will be taking this up with the Ombudsman for Insurance Services.

I would like to urge all members of the public to do their best to avoid signing up the services of M Sure vehicle warranty. You will have an emergency and may not receive the help you need.
