M-sure representatives twisting around direct translation of their own worded servicing policy to avoid authorising and paying out my vw polo gti claim

A statement from M-Sure after putting a claim in: "The client has a plan N currently. In order to qualify for this plan type, all services need to be done and on time at a franchise dealer. Due to the last service been done at a RMI workshop, the client will need to give a permission to move the plan type from a plan N to a plan A – however with this been done the benefit amounts will change."

What their policy states: "When you buy this policy and the vehicle is still within the factory warranty, as supp**** by the manufacturer of the vehicle, you need to service the vehicle at the factory appointed dealer. Should the vehicle no longer have a factory warranty, you have the option to service the vehicle at either a factory appointed dealer or an RMI (Retail Motor Industry) registered facility. The service requirements at the time of sale will remain for the full period of the policy. No self-servicing will be allowed. If you do not service your vehicle as per the requirements, you will be in breach of the policy conditions, which may result in the policy being cancelled."

Even a grade 1 child learning a South African English will tell you that the policy clearly translate that a policyholder must service his car at a VW dealership, in my case it is a vw polo gti, while under factory warranty for any service after sale of policy, and should the vehicle factory warranty expires then the policyholder can service at his choice of RMI registered facility.

I have noticed from hellopeter that SAwarranties and M-sure are receiving lot of claims; therefore, my service mustn't be affected as I paid full amount without hussle when taking out their policy; let alone trying to take chances by saying your policy says what it doesn't say.
