M-sure not Covering Minor Dent
I am fully covered for a scratch and dent policy with M-sure. I made a claim for a scratch and dent that I have on my car.
They sent me the list of panel beaters I should get the quotes from. One nearest to me quoted R7500, and the cheapest quote I got from the second panel beater was R4220.
I submitted both quotes to M-sure, together with the pictures of the damages . However, they rejected my claim stating that the damage is more than 15cm long. I further proved that the scratch was longer than 15cm but the dent was less than 15cm in diameter. But they still refuse to assist me with the repair of the dent.
In the policy they differentiate between a scratch and a dent. But after I proved that the dent is smaller than 15cm they are now telling me that both the scratch and dent is the same thing.
This is quite frustrating as payment for the insurance has been made in full. But I am not being covered for the minor dent.
Is there any way I can fight this to get the dent covered?

I have emailed the relevant department with my documentation that was required to cancel the policy, however, I have not gotten any feedback as to the cancellation and my refund.
Extremely frustrated with the waiting game.

The consultant also mentioned in her email that I/VW Finance will be refunded an amount of R277.50.
I queried why I was being refunded an amount of only R277.50 as I had not taken a monthly policy and had paid R 3999.00 in full in one payment. I also asked her how M-sure got to the amount of R277.50 to refund me. However, since her last email on 11 August 2022, I have not heard from M-sure. This is extremely frustrating.
I cannot understand how a refund amount of R277.50 would be obtained from R 3999.00 If anything, this is **************** at its best.
