M-Sure and Bosch Autoserv Pinetown *********** fools who will rob you!

My vehicle had an engine knock on 11 February 2021 and due to the extended warranty, I notified M-Sure who gave the option of the OEM or RMI on their panel. I chose the RMI based on the affordability as I was advised they would be cheaper. The RMI, Bosch Autoserv Pinetown, ended up misdiagnosing the engine knock. My car was there for three months. Had endless emails between the insurance and the RMI repair centre. I even questioned their diagnosis as they claimed the problem to be the timing chain, which after they replaced, the engine knock was still noted. Gave me quote to replace sub assembly and oil pump (which was the problem) etc. for R290K!!! Car was bought for R168K only last year September (broke down less than a year after purchase) and still under finance. I decided to tow the vehicle to Hyundai in Pinetown who quoted me for a brand new engine at R190K. Hyundai claims that the RMI caused further damage to the engine by replacing the timing chain first which caused the top end to seize hence, warranting a brand new engine. I notified the insurance who up to this day (18 August 2021) have not concluded on their investigation of the misdiagnosis. Besides poor, pathetic client services, M-sure does not care about their clients interests. Is clear that the RMI was not component or qualified to work on my vehicle so why have them on their panel in the first place. Moreover, the claims lead, Kerwin Padachyee, handling my case, just approved the repair with a max policy benefit of R25K totally ignoring the possibility that the RMI caused further damage to my engine and leaving me to fit the bill. Kerwin is an absolute *********** individual. He doesn't answer phone calls and takes ages to respond to emails. The Deals Managers, John Quiggly is equally at fault.

AND DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO BOSCH AUTOSERV PINETOWN. The Branch Manager, Thevan Ramsamy, is a fool, with only excuses and employs mechanics previously dismissed from Hyundai for misquoting customers. I cant help but think they quoted me R290K to pay for the entire engine thus, hiding the fact that they caused further damage. Moreover, the director Raul Quintas, barked like a whining dog that they followed industry norm in their diagnosis but did not do an oil pressure test initially which would have indicated low hydraulic pressure and oil pump failure. I constantly asked them to check for the actual problem but they chose to repair the effect of the problem rather than deduce the problem itself. SO THEY ARE NOT EQUIPPED TO WORK ON HYUNDAI VEHICLES. What's worse, this idiot Theven, said as we are towing our vehicle away that they are not capable of working on high performance vehicles like mine, a Hyundai Sonata GDI.

I am now stuck with a vehicle which is uneconomical to repair. Its been 6 months since the car broke down!!!!!!

The MOTUS GROUP SUCKS!!! How can RMI be cheaper when they did not even quote on the full repair but still wanted me to pay an extra R100K!!!!!
