Labour costs

I have an extended warranty with SA Warranties. Recently I claimed for a clutch kit to be replaced. They told me that the clutch kit is covered but not the stripping of the old one. I find this rather bizarre. If they claim that I'm covered for the replacement of a clutch kit, how is it that the removal of the part they are replacing not covered? This is such a rip-off.
