I bought a Bmw 1 series in November last year and bought a warranty for 20K cover. I was promised it covers most of mechanical and two tyres with no questions asked. On the 27 July I hit a pot hole and damaged two of my tyres, I had to be towed home. I called in I was told that my warranty has not kicked in yet will only kick in October, I explained to the counsultant that it was suppose to be on already he said I must take it up with my dealer and get a confirmation and send it back to him which I did and I haven't had from the person to this day. I then put my old tyres I had to go to Tyger wheels and tyre to find out how I can claim they told me they won't cover them as there is not picture of the old damaged tyres and to confirmation from the SA warranty consultant saying they need proof. How can I send proof of something o 1st claim 2 months ago? I paid a lot of money for this can someone sort out this mass before I take it up with the ombudsman
