No guarantee on selling items

I am not sure if the company is legit.

I sent photos of a Louis Vuitton bag I would like to sell. Got an e-mail reply and WhatsApp message with a cash offer as well as a consignment offer with the following message:

Hi,

Thank you again for your submission and we hope that you are having a wonderful day.

We are happy to quote you today on selling your items to Luxity:

Consignment Offer: Marc, our Head Buyer, has made the below consignment offers on your items. Please note as these are consignment offers, you will only be paid out once full payment has been made by the client and the return window has passed. You will need to send the item(s) to our store in Sandton City (Nelson Mandela Square), V&A Waterfront (Cape Town), Gateway (Durban) or Menlyn Maine (Tshwane) unless they are already there. You can also send your item(s) to us via Postnet to the Sandton City Postnet. Luxity will then authenticate, professionally photograph, and list your goods online and in-store.

It just seems like you carry all the risk, you have to send the item and wait for it to be sold before you get your money. No guarantee and no deposit upon sending the item.

You get a WhatsApp message from Luxity with the same message as in the e-mail. When I selected the button, Speak to a Buyer I only got an automated reply, you didn't select how to sell the item and the message got closed. Does not seem like a legit company to me.

Double-checked it on Web Paranoid and **** Adviser. Company Rating We found that this company has been reviewed at the extremes. The reviews are either very positive or negative. This may indicate a possible ****.
