Zuri:Not accepting a return on a purchased product

I purchased a few jewelry items on the 22nd of November from Zuri in Canal Walk (part of the Lovisa group I found out when looking at the slip). <br> I went back to the store (I went to Lovisa first, confused by the name on the slip) to return a pair of earrings/ear cuffs I bought and wanted to return. The store clerk did not want to accept the return of the earrings, because according to them they have a strict no return policy on earrings, and 'it is printed clearly on the slip' she said.<br> I suggested that they make a sign in the store or at the till, and not on the slip for the customer to see AFTER the purchase, and I studied the slip, no such disclaimer. <br> As far as I know the Consumer Law allows us as customers the freedom to return a product we are not satisfied with, so I am not convinced by this policy.
