Untruthful Regarding Returns

I visited lovisa on 6-6-15,I am a regular customer and today I bought a few items.One of them was a ring which was an S-M size,i tried the ring on with its packing attached as all rings come attached to the boxes for the Diamond simulant rings.I paid for my stuff and was literally outside the shop, opened the packaging and tried the ring on,then realised it's falling off my finger,I was not happy to keep the ring which was R270 and doesn't fit.I go back into store,Zandile says her manager is on leave til 14-06-15 and she cannot process refunds till then and I must come back then and said I can go to gateway store to return when I asked.I spoke to the gateway store manager Michelle who said a manager is not needed to authorise refunds so I go back to the store while I have Michelle on the line and pass the phone to zandile,michelle told her to do the refund and it was done! I am very disgusted by this as it is shocking how a staff can speak lies to me,poses the question - how many other people have been **** to? I was inconvenienced,i had to waste so much time calling another store at my own expense only to find I was **** to.Consumers pls take note so you don't become a victim.
