****py Jewelry, ****py Prices

So I bought three pairs of earrings at the store in Durban Lifestyle Centre around December 2020. They had a sale and I decided, hey, why not? Picked three pairs that I liked and went to pay, only to find out that I'm being charged full price for things that were listed as "on sale". It cost me over R700 for THREE pairs!! Being the person that I am, I still went ahead and bought them. I only recently (about 3 weeks ago) got around to wearing one of the pairs, and it's been really painful. I didn't have any of my other earrings with me, and I didn't want to take them out because the skin behind my ear heals up really quickly. I finally managed to take these earrings out today, which hurt a lot, and my earrings holes had been bleeding, as well as my left earring hole becoming stretched. On top of all this, the jewelry is ****, and the coating chips off very quickly. So, even though Lovisa has some really nice looking earrings, if you're looking for something you can wear long time, wouldn't suggest them. If you want something to wear for just one day or night, I would advise maybe just going to Clicks or something and buying one of those cheaper earring sets that are basically the same quality as Lovisa jewelry, but for a cheaper price and larger quantity.
