Paying more for "discounted" items than original price

Absolutely disgusted after my experience today. Bought hair clips that was on the sale stand (up to 60% off) when I got to the till I had to pay full price of R240 and when I left I saw that there was an additional sticker beneath showing the original price of R190.

How does that work??? Paying more on "discounted" products than the original price. Lovisa I will never support you again! You are busy ripping people off.
