no exhange can be done on items

I had purchased an ear ring as a gift for my sister. However she did not like it and I went straight away the next day to exchange it for any other. <br> <br> The cashier gave me attitude and says they cannot exchange it. This is very bad to customers who buy there often. Stores should exchange goods especially when it's the next day and you can see I haven't used the item.<br> <br> Very disappointed, never to shop at lovisa again!!!<br> <br> The least they could do was give me another,i didn't demand a refund.
