Disgusting service at LOVISA The Pavillion

On Sunday 3rd March 2024, I visited the Lovisa store at the Pavillion Shopping Centre. I wanted to buy a few jewellery items but because I needed to do a few other things, I wanted to save that experience for last before leaving the mall. So I walked in and asked when they closed and I was told 7pm. I then proceeded to run other errands and made my way back to Lovisa to ensure I arrive by 6:40 or so. I could not believe that at 6:42 they had already closed and even shut the roller door. So in disbelief, I tried getting the attention of the girl that was standing at the till. She completely ignored me first and foremost, and when she realised I wasn’t going away she rudely yelled “Sisi sesivalile!” Which,translated is “Lady! We’re closed!” So I said, “but how? Don’t you close at 7?” Then she looked at me with attitude and yelled “it’s 6:44 we’re closed!” And I said “but it’s not 7, the lady that assisted me earlier told me you close at 7 so I literally planned my whole trip around coming here to this store as my very last stop. I timed it such that I make it 20 mins before you close”. Then she said” No!! I’ve closed the till and I’m not gonna open it just for you and then close it again. We’re closed!” And then ignored me and continued cashing up. Every other surrounding store was still opened by the way. They were the only ones who had decided to close the shop before closing time! I walked away feeling so angry and disgusted by her rude attitude and very poor customer service. Fortunately right across Lovisa there was another jewellery store so I decided to go spend my money there instead. They were still open and their customer service was great.
