1 Paper bag per customer

Lovisa The Glen. We normally buy gifts at Lovisa for our friends as a birthday present so I chose 2 items and I asked the sales lady if she could give me 2 bags as its for 2 different people just for her to tell me no. I then left it and waited for my wife to chose her gift for her friend. By this time my wife had overheard me at the counter enquiring about the bags so she went up to the till to pay for her item and also asked the sales lady why we cannot get 2 bags for the items I had bought. The sales lady still insists that we cannot get another bag as its one bag per customer and then said you are not the only customers who she had to deal with regarding the same issue. She then says to us if you want to complain speak to head office. By now we have lost the plot. If I buy something now I get 1 bag, I can then leave the store come back later to buy something and I'll just get another bag again. Why can I then not get another bad for the 2 items I buy at the same time. Meanwhile there is this little black cuirtain hanging between the items on the wall which is stacked with bags so it's definitly not a stock issue. Never the less my wife left her item on the counter and Lovisa has lost our business forever.
