Lottoland has a lot of bad reviews don't use them.

I would like to know why is my banking information been shared with Uber from Lottoland. For 2 years since I've been with Lottoland someone has been using my banking info to use with uber and deducting from my account.

I've had to close my old Fnb acc and open a new FNB account, been running fine for three months now, as soon as I use my NEW account details on Lottoland I'm Uber starts deducting from my account again. And Lottoland is the only time I used my new account details.

This is unacceptable

Good afternoon Conwae,

Thank you for your feedback.

We do understand how concerning it must be with unkown deductions on your account.

Please be assured that Lottoland does not store or share any Bank Card details. Card information is tokenized so your full Card number is not visible. We also make use of a reputable secure independent payment provider PayFast who process the payments.

Transactions are also 3DS secure meaning they need to be authenticated to go through successfully. This should be the same for a Card being added on an Uber account. This is usually done via an SMS code or in-App authentication from the Card holder.

We would suggest contacting your Bank to dispute these transactions. If the Card is being used on Ubers platform then it would also be linked to an Uber profile which can be investigated.

Virtual Cards can be created for making online purchases as well which has a constantly changing CVV and multiple of these can be created which can be used on different merchants for extra security.

Kind Regards,
The Lottoland Team
