WARRANTY NOT HONOURED

I purchased a gazebo from Loot, and on the third occasion that I used it, it broke. At first they agreed to replace it. Then, a few days later they changed their mind, as they said the warranty didn't cover wear and tear. They have since said that the damage was self-inflicted. Seriously, are they accusing me of taking a hammer to it? There was quite clearly a latent defect, which they and their supplier are not willing to acknowledge.
I fully expect a 'cut and paste' response to this report.
PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL IN YOUR DEALINGS WITH LOOT. I see from the reports that others have had similar issues with other products.

Hello chery,

We are so sorry that you feel that the item was of poor quality.

In cases where the warranty is held by the supplier, we will have to get the item back to us for assessment before a replacement can be arranged. We can confirm that the gazebo was promptly assessed by our team and it was concluded that the damage was not caused by any factory fault that could have resulted in steel frame snapping when the gazebo was disassembled.

The Gazebo has a 2 Year Warranty on factory defects, rust (with limitations), and a 1 year UV and fade warranty.

We would be happy to arrange a quote to have the item repaired.

Once again, we are so sorry that the damage that occurred was not covered by the warranty of the product. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Kind regards,
Wardah
