Unfairly Treated
I bought a 75" Skyworth TV in November for 10k on special, in December it was giving me issues screen going blank, screen showing rainbow pixels on the left side. Logged a request for CN-TRONICS SERVICE CENTRE (insurer) TV was picked up in February for assessing to find that the insurer is unable to fix the TV but was advise they will refund the merchant and I should enquire for a refund or exchange from them. Notified LOOT in the beginning of March and was told they are in a process of sorting the issue. On my return order, I mentioned I don't want a refund but an exchange. from March I have been following up with them and not getting any joy, only now in April 8th was advise they will refund and the refund was made to their LOOT account on the 9th April. I then sent a email to their customercare to advise them that was request was for an exchange and not a refund, I was then told that the TV is not available, however on their website the same TV is being advertised and sold to customer. LOOT stance was a refund and they are not changing their decision on that. This created an inconvenience on my side, I was out without a TV for 2 months, the same TV at other store is 4000 extra which I don't have. I deeply sadness by how LOOT handled my case, I believe if it was white person requesting for an exchange they wouldn't question them, I believe I was unfairly treated and I am still without a TV today. I will as well send an email to Wendy Knowler to try an assist me in this because its now a bad customer experience for me seeing that have been using LOOT for years but still with that in mind, there was no consideration and caring for their customer.
