Think twice before making use of Loot
In my life I have never received such poor service from an online supplier. I’ve ordered my families Christmas gifts a month in advance and double checked that every item was in stock and would ship (and that i will receive according to them no later than 24th of December). This order included 12 items. After not hearing from them and two weeks passed I wrote a mail asking if everything was on track. They told me that one item was not available at the time they ordered and that they will give me a voucher to make up for this.(This item showed up as in stock at time I placed my order.) They also credited that amount on my loot account for future purchases with a R50 voucher which didn’t help me at all as I needed the gift. I wanted to skip the shops and ordered online just to have to go back the week shops are crazy busy and go buy it anyway. I asked them to pay the money back to my account and to advise when i can expect the rest of my order. This request was sent two times by me before I received the money. I again asked when i would receive my order as they didn’t come back to me on that, and they rep**** that one or more items are out of stock from supplier. With this reply I was really upset and started to panic. I wrote them explaining that this was urgent and that I needed the gifts. A day later I received the courier company details and tracking details. I’ve received the order yesterday 23rd Dec of which I am grateful but one of the items was not included in my parcel. I didn’t receive it. I need to go replace that and pay for it again at a shop( if i will find it a day before Christmas.) Ive just received a mail advising that it was shipped today. I don't have any hope to receive it before Christmas. I am truly disappointed in Loot and will strongly advise anyone to refrain from buying from them. This taught me it is much easier to just go to the shop and buy the items. No stress, no emails to and fro and no losing money, no fuss.
