Poor service and denied refund

I ordered a baby monitor on 21 Jan for my baby due in April. After a week of trying to connect to the unit and even calling the technical team at the manufacturers for assistance I was unable to get the item to work so I requested a return. I received no feedback. I followed up via email and calls and was informed that someone would contact me from the supplier to assist. No one contacted me. I followed up again and was told the unit would be collected for assessment. The unit was finally collected mid Feb and sent for assessment. Once again I waited for feedback and received none. On 1 March I followed up again. At this point I just wanted a working monitor and requested a refund. I was informed that the error could not be replicated. I find this ridiculous as no one even contacted me to find out the details of the error or steps I followed. I once again requested a refund and with no context or conversation, was informed that a refund is not possible. This is despite following the exact process indicated for refunds. Almost 2 months later I have no resolution and I am now a few weeks away from my due date with no monitor, no refund and the worst customer service experience ever!

Hello Karmine,

We are so sorry of your experience.

We have asked that the item be returned to us as soon as possible. As the item is not faulty, we would usually charge a handling fee for an open box return, however, on this occasion, we would be happy to waive this charge.

The refund will be processed shortly and we will email you to confirm.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused to you.

Kind regards,
Wardah
