Pathetically pathetic delivery service
<p>This is the second time I purchased items on Loot.co.za. I paid for their "express courier" service which is supposed to take only a day, I am on day two now with no form of communication regarding my order. I call their offices to enquire and was advised my delivery would only be made after a week.</p> <p>I ask myself, what is the whole point for the "express courier"? My opinion, it's either a **** or ****************, pick one. On the very same day I bought stuff on Takealot (from the Cape Town warehouse), i didn't pay for any express courier and the stuff is getting delivered to Centurion today.</p> <p>Word of advise, rather look for an alternative on Takealot, at least then you won't turn into a fossil while you're waiting for your goods.</p>

Many items on our website are dispatched within 24 hours. These items are listed as "in stock" and "dispatched within 24 hours" on our website and refer to items in our warehouse.
However, the items you ordered are listed as "usually dispatched within 2-5 working days". The express delivery service option of 1 day refers to the time taken for delivery after dispatch.
We are sorry if you may have missed the delivery time quoted during checkout, when placing your order on our website.
This dispatch time period is based on how long it usually takes for us to obtain an item from our suppliers. This way, we are able to make several million products available for our customers to order.
