Pathetic service with zero communication.

This company never fails to surprise me. Every delivery I request has some form of delay. I purchased an item on Monday 23rd August at 11am. It had the delivery timeline of "ships within 1 to 4 days". Any sane person would then expect the item to be dispatched by Friday 27th August as the worst case scenario. NOT Loot. 1 - 4 days indicates the time it takes their supplier to ship it to them. They just don't tell you that. So the item had a status change of "Stock on order" until Monday 30th August. Status changed to "being packed" on Monday 30th August. It will only be delivered on Wednesday 1st September. So, in all honesty, this has been the worst experience I have had with an online retailer. It is not the first time they have been dishonest in their delivery estimates and it surely will not be the last. I should have paid an extra R200 and ordered from Takealot and received the item on time or earlier. I logged a call with them on Friday 27th August and have still not received any response. It is really not a good place to use for online purchases and I will not be using them again. Pathetic service and worse communication.
