Out of stock Braun at [URL Removed]
After successfully using other online purchasing websites I have now tried [URL Removed] and have had a very bad experience. After researching shavers I selected and paid for a Braun Series 3 340S-4 on Bid or Buy (which showed Loot as the supplier) and showed a number of units in stock. I completed and paid for the order on 8/4 and then got an email from [URL Removed] saying the part will be despatched no later than 17/4? This seemed long but I had already paid so had not choice but to wait. On 13/4 I sent an email to loot inquiring on latest progress? I then on 14/8(6 days after paying!!) received a mail from LOOT informing me they don't have stock and if I send them bank details they will refund in 5 days!! This is not acceptable and I am very upset. Surely they could have told me this a lot earlier, also take items off their/bid or buy website if stock not available! I sent a reply email yesterday and still have no response today!! I plan to take this up with Braun SA too as this can't be good PR for them. If I want to make a purchase elsewhere I would have to wait another 5 days(if that is true) to get a refund and then try and repurchase. NOT HAPPY!!!

At the time you ordered the item, our suppliers were showing that they had stock, and therefore we should have been able to obtain the item within the time we quoted. However, at the time our order was processed, this stock had depleted. Unfortunately, it is the nature of stock levels that they can change suddenly. We are very sorry we were not able to get one of the last units for you.
We are awaiting confirmation from our suppliers that the alternative unit you may be interested in is available and will do our very best to secure one of the last of these units for you.
