Loot.co.za Glorified Drop Shoppers BE AWARE

I have placed x6 orders on loot.co.za totalling R201k after confirming with loot.co.za that they have stock; and on their website it stated that they have stock. They assured me that if they can't source it locally, they will import it. I had my doubts and phoned the local supplier in SA at the time I placed my order, and paid. LOOT assured me it's on route on loot.co.za. Again they confirmed that there is stock in SA at that time. A week later loot.co.za cancelled my orders and refunded my loot account (store credit), via email. I asked them for a refund, they said that it will take up to 5 working days for a refund to my bank account. I could have source these products from other shops but since LOOT is still sitting with my money. The product is now sold out everywhere! I am all for supporting local but If I placed my order on Amazon Global I would've had my goods by now. When this happend with the first order I phoned them and I got attitude from them as if I am in the wrong. I would love for them to make all my calls public as "all calls are recorded", right. How can this business practice be legal? What protection is there for the consumer? I can't give any of my people Christmas gifts thanks to loot.co.za who is sitting with over R201k of my money and still no solution. They never phone back when they say they will and don't even offer an explanation never mind solution. People please be aware of loot.co.za.
