Loot return and refund policy is appauling!

The service received from Loot has been shocking. 2 and a bit months later since my initial order, 2 faulty new products, endless delays with deliveries to and from me to loot to supplier. I requested a refund following the second faulty battery system - Gizzu - do not purchase this item either. I now get a message to say the supplier says it is in working order and I must pay R60 delivery to get it back to me when I requested a refund as I do not want a product that does not work as it should or oke that has been fixed when I paid for new. Their return, refund and delivery process is an absolute disaster. Save yourself your sanity, and do not purchase anything that will need to be returned via Loot. Or rather use another platform like Take Alot who has a system that works. Loot have done everything oppositely to the TCF principles which is of huge concern. @loot - best you refund me soon. I do not want a third faulty item nor a fixed item when I paid for new. I requested a refund a few weeks ago, please ensure it is refunded by the end of this week.

I urgently require the product I purchased hence purchasing it. By the time this is sorted, it will be 3 or 4 months later which is simply unacceptable. I have asked to speak to management and i just get an automated response, like talking to a robot.

Refund me asap so I can purchase another brand that is reliable on another platform that has a system that works.

Loot has gone against TCF principles and the Consumer Protection Act and this requires internal investigation.

Now I have received an email saying that if I want a refund I need to pay a 20% handling fee of up to R700. No fixed amount, depends on what they feel like charging based on the price of your product. That is utterly ridiculous considering I ordered an item that was faulty and have been struggling without a power bank for over 2 months, almost 3 month now, because of Loots inefficiencies.

Their terms and conditions are hidden and were not expressly explained.

Do not use Loot, as they do not give you full refunds despite the fact that their products don't work and the client is the one being inconvenienced from all angles

I should be the one charging them a waiting fee and for now havin to purchase a more expensive product elsewhere.

They charge you delivery fees to return a faulty product to you too. All round *******.

Loot are proving to be ****mers.

Do not use Loot - they should stick to selling books as they are clearly out of their depth trying to compete with the likes of Take Alot - Take Alot has an efficient system that works and benefits their shoppers not the other way round.

Loot get you to purchase from them by lowering their prices and making them cheaper than any other platform. I also wanted to save a buck but now regret not paying 1k more for the same product on Take Alot. It would have alleviated this nightmare of an experience with Loot.

There is a reason these products are cheaper... they are defective.
