How can they still exist?

I ordered two identical game controllers from Loot on the 19th of September. The estimated completion time was 30 September. On Sunday 29 September, the website said that it was "Being packed." On 30 September, the website showed (and still does) "Completed Mon, 30 Sep 2019, 15:32 "

I went to collect the items at Loot on 1 October only to be told that they weren't yet ready and were still in packing and they couldn't give them to me. Given that I drove half an hour to collect it, I requested that it then be delivered to me. A few minutes after I left, they called to inform me that they will be delivered either 2 October or 3 October.

On 2 October, the website shows "Being packed."

Two puzzling things here are (1) How it takes 4 days to pack 2 items (2) How a business that doesn't deliver on their own reported dates and has no communication to the customer about any deviation can still exist as a viable, profitable business

Perhaps it's just a matter of time.
