False Advertising
Please can this mail reach the management of Loot.<br> <br> On the 20th of October 2015, you advertised a GREAT SPECIAL of roughly 60% discount on a Lego Chima Rogon's Rock Flinger (70131).<br> <br> You sold it for R414 from the original price of roughly R1200.<br> <br> On the 21st of October 2015, I purchased this product under the pretense that it was a great deal of approximately 60% discount.<br> <br> My son collects thousands of Rands worth of Chima and Star Wars, and when I gave it to him for Christmas and told him about the pricing, he said it could never be R1200 for such a set.<br> <br> Upon further investigation online and via several toy stores (Toy Kingdom, Hamleys and Toys r Us), I found that your advertising was false.<br> <br> I need this escalated please, my monies spent refunded, and I will gladly return the product.<br> <br>
We assure you that Loot would never *********ly mislead anyone on our pricing.
At the time, this item was only available as an import from the UK, to the best of our knowledge.
We were given a special deal from our UK suppliers and this is what our pricing and our promotion of the deal was based on.
We definitely checked to see if it was available locally, or at a cheaper price, in case there was a better deal for this product available.
We would be happy to collect the item from you for a full refund, should the item be unopened. Our customer service team will be in touch.
