Dissatisfaction with Loot

I had the misfortune of ordering an item for a Xmas gift from Loot under order No GKMS-253-B650. The order was placed online on the 28th November with last expected shipping date as Friday 13th December. Needless to say on checking it reflected the item on order when checking online. I followed up with Loot on Wednesday the 18th December allowing an additional two days for potential delivery which was to collect at the Westlake depot. I followed up with the call centre agent Charley who I did not get much joy from and the approach was such a vague one. ‘I will escalate it’ and ‘ I will try and get back to you today’ I eventually got a commitment that someone would contact me via cell before close of business yesterday. I knew in my heart of hearts that I was not going to get any response. Needless to say was proven absolutely right. Judging from recent reviews most of which are unfavorable I now have little to no confidence that the item is going to arrive in time. I have experienced of late that purchases from Loot are rarely delivered by the said date and in my opinion the service from Loot is going downhill and it is unlikely that I will ever use this service again. Be extremely wary of using Loot and anticipating delivery when they say they will deliver. Takealot is a much more professional and reliable online shopping experience
