Dissappointment with service at Loot
I ordered a washing machine from Loot on the 13th Feb, I only recived it on the 25 Feb (12 days later) it was damaged. I notified Loot on the same day and sent photos. It took until that Friday 1st March to approve an uplift. As I am travelling the following week and need a washing machine the young lady promised me an urgent uplift on the Friday, so that i can get a credit and go somewhere else to buy a washing machine. I then got an email saying that the uplift would only now happen the following week. At my wits end, I contacted Loot today 4 Mar and advised that i would be away from Wed for the week and really need a washing machine. The lady then said we could do a swap, she checked and said that there is no stock! So i asked if they would consider a discount. They offered my R300 - Game are selling the machine currently at R500 less than Loot RSP new and undamaged - I have declined and will never buy a large ticket item from them ever again. Takealot has been excellent on delivery of large ticket items so i will rather use them in future. So from order to collection it has so far taken almost 3 weeks with nothing to show for it, except absolute dissapointment. I have been a loyal Loot customer for many years and feel very let down by them, as if they dont care - I am just another irritation and an order number. The feedabck has been very poor, I think the young lady at Loot returns is doing her best, but i think she is the only person there and is not coping. I am hoping that management will contact me and speak to me as if i am actually important to them - we'll see.
