Delivery promises

I ordered a Candy washing machine where the delivery was clearly stated on the item as 1-2 days, one week later after sending 2 mails abs trying to call in but waiting to long I eventually get through to be told to expect delivery next week being now 2 weeks after order. If delivery promises are made prior to purchase they should be adhered to from a service delivery point of view. Since this the product now shows 3-5 days delivery and still way under actual delivery times.
