Delivery 3-5 days but will only be dispatched 2 weeks later!

I placed my first order with loot.co.za on the 6th December 2018. The item had a delivery date on it before I purchased it advising that delivery will happen in 3-5 working days.

I then called them last week to find out what is happening and I was advised that the item will only be dispatched on the 18th December, this is not acceptable. I then saw an email which explained the same thing dispatch will happen on the 18th.

I have been ordering from takelot for years and when they do not have stock of the item it is stated on the page when buying the product that it will be shipped within eg: 10-15 working days.

My kitchen renovations will be completed for the latest tomorrow and I do not have my HOB! I feel id rather cancel the order and go and purchase the item at Tafelberg furnisher as they have the same item for R100 more, but then I will have the item immediately.

As a first time buyer from loot I am really not impressed and I will surely not be ordering again from the company.
