Could've been better, could've been worse

I was recently looking for a particular book to get my girlfriend for her birthday that couldn't be obtained in national stores. The closest competitor was Raru, which promised to deliver the book in 6-8 business weeks. Loot on the other hand, gave an estimated delivery of 3 weeks. Admittedly, I was unwilling to use Loot, due to the poor reviews and scores in this very platform. There was a one week delay, in which I will plead guilty to feeling like I had been ********** or become another person ready to fight the online store, however the book was given to me according to the pushed back schedule, no hassle or followups needed. Despite that, I had no issues with shopping at loot, very consumer-friendly, kept me updated with my order's status and I honestly believe they're worth giving a shot. I personally don't feel that they deserve the stick I've seen here. I would definitely recommend loot to a friend, although I would warn them about the lack of sticking to a timeframe!
