Being Looted At Loot

I've been a buyer at Loot for years but I've now noted a trend that I am not happy about, nor are Loot honest about this trend being wrong.

I order a CD, get a series of emails indicating that the item will be delayed until a point where they say that the item is no longer available.

But a day or 2 later, then the item is available at a far higher price. I know it is the exact same item as the cancelled link in my order summary takes me directly to the now almost R200 CD.

An email placed to them advised me that they need to observe a certain margin but then my question is, why advertise it at a lower price while expecting the aforementioned margin?

Aside from their margins and relationships with their suppliers not being my concern, they then will not provide an email answering why I need to understand their margins if I followed their page, paid their price but now essentially being told to pay more if I want the item.

I mentioned this is a trend. Probably the 4th or 5th time in maybe the last few months I've experienced this.

When arrogance becomes your attitude towards your clientel, things happen. Just ask Raru
