If only I looked at the other reviews of Loot here before, would have saved me time, money and frustration and inconvenience. I ordered an HP Laptop batter (generic not original) 8-Feb. Arrived 14 Feb. Plugging the battery in, it report "Battery not detected". My original battery still worked in the laptop, just very short life). I Googled and tried various option, hard reset on the LAptop, firmware and drivers updated, but it still reported "Battery not detected". I logged return with Loot 15-Feb. Arrived at their offices 6-March. They kept stalling, stating the device is with the supplier for testing. After many emails and delays, I called them 30MAr. The claim was that they received feedback from their supplier the same day (coincidence? or BS story?) and that the battery is working.

They still not processing my refund and wanted me to state (what was already stated in the return) that the device is not working on my laptop.

It was R40 less on Loot than Takealot. I so regret buying from Loot, should've stuck with Takealot. They are ********** and contravene the CPA. Please stay away, *********, ************* supplier!
