Negative value add!

The repairman that Local Pros referred to me blatantly de*****ed me. He told me he had replaced a part to fix my fridge when in fact he had not done anything and just absconded with his fee and the cost of the part that the did not replace. The LocalPros site does not give any contact details on their site, so I am unable to take the matter up with them. Their site does however contain a rather onerous homeowner usage agreement, which effectively absolves LocalPros of any and all responsibility for the services providers accessed through their site. They don't appear to have any vetting process for the service providers accessed through their site. In my view I would have less risk if I picked up a someone advertising their services on the side of the road than I did getting a service provider through LocalPros. Very bad experience - will never use them again
