Poor Service and Damaged Goods

I hired Load-A-Lot in March for transport from Johannesburg to Cape Town and had multiple serious issues. First, they sent the wrong sized truck and I had to wait an extra day for the correct vehicle. Despite specifically requesting 6 staff members due to the heavy load, only the driver and one assistant showed up. Most concerning was the poor securing of items during transport. Heavy items fell from upright positions, crushing plastic signs underneath and causing R60,000 in damages. When I tried to discuss compensation, their communication was extremely poor and unhelpful. The combination of logistical errors, inadequate staffing, careless handling, and poor customer service when dealing with damages makes this company unreliable. I cannot recommend Load-A-Lot and would advise others to look elsewhere for their transport needs. By the way its June and I have still not received any compensation!
