Moving mistake

I had the worst moving experience ever with this company. Unfortunately I can’t give zero stars on this review, otherwise that’s what they would get from me.

Their website is very impressive but what they claim and offer does not match their service. They don’t know what their clients write on their digital quote. They don’t follow up with you either, they don’t confirm when their people are coming to do your move. They don’t answer one’s e- mails. I had to phone to ask on the day why nobody had arrived yet. First they said they would be 2 hours late, then I was told, I had to wait for 4 hours on a Friday afternoon or change it to Saturday morning. Nobody wishes to work on a Friday afternoon so I changed it to Saturday.

I asked on the website and paid extra to have most of my items wrapped and requested a cleaner to clean afterwards. They just simply did not provide this service. The driver told me that he only covers items with blankets, no wrapping. He also said that he does not clean. The driver also did not have a complete itinary of my items because they can’t get it from the quote on their own internet booking system!

The driver was unprofessional and kept saying that he needed to be elsewhere- really after they came a day after my original booking!

Then they broke my dining room table. Only one guy was carrying my items off the truck and he tried to lift the heavy base himself and pulled two of the four legs off the wooden base. This resulted in the wood being damaged. Apparently it takes 7-21 days for an investigation. Really? I asked about insurance before the move and they said they do have and gave me the name. I doubt they will be if any use as one can’t trust these people with anything.
