Stay Far Away: Paid in Full, No Order, Endless Courier Excuses

I am writing this review based on my current and very disappointing experience with LN Watches. I am happy to update this review if and when my order is ever actually received, but as things stand, I feel others should be warned.

I first contacted LN Watches on Instagram on 27 January 2026 to ask whether they could make a custom watch strap for my Garmin watch, which required an 18mm strap. They responded within minutes and confirmed that they could customize it with an 18mm spring bar quick release.

I did not place an order immediately, but after seeing their Instagram campaigns again, I reached out on 8 May 2026 and placed an order for four customized 18mm watch bands. I paid R1,900 via EFT, including the promotional discount and courier fee.

After I queried the lead time, I was told it would take 5 to 8 working days. That lead time came and went with no communication from LN Watches. I had to follow up on 18 May to ask when I could expect delivery. They responded the following day saying I could expect delivery in a week’s time, even though the original lead time had already lapsed by then.

Another week passed. Still no delivery. Still no update. I followed up AGAIN.

I was then told that the supplier had sent the incorrect Garmin pin size and that they were waiting for the correct parts to arrive. I was understanding and specifically asked that they keep me updated, as basic communication should be the bare minimum when a business cannot meet the delivery timeline it promised. They agreed to keep me updated.

Then another week passed with NO UPDATE.

I followed up yet again and was told I should expect delivery that coming Friday. The day before, I messaged to confirm delivery for the following day, as I had not received any courier communication. I also made it clear that if the order was not delivered, I would expect a refund, as we were nearing a month since I placed and paid for the order.

Instead of receiving my order, I received another explanation about courier delays and a screenshot of tracking information.

When I asked for another update today, I was sent another DHL tracking screenshot. However, when I checked the tracking details properly, I noticed that the tracking only seemed to go back to 2 June, despite my order being placed on 8 May.

When I queried this, I was told they had received the wrong lugs and had to place another order for the correct ones. My question then was simple: Did it take nearly a month to realize the wrong parts had been received? That question has been left unanswered.

What makes this even more concerning is that after looking at their Facebook page, I noticed other comments and reviews mentioning similar stories about courier delays and excuses. Based on my experience, this seems to be a recurring issue rather than a once-off delay.

LN Watches appears legitimate online. They have an Instagram account, a website, a decent following, and they run ads. That is exactly why I trusted them. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite of professional. I paid in full. I have been patient. I have had to chase them repeatedly for updates. Their promised delivery timelines have not been met, and the communication has been poor unless I follow up first.

This is extremely sad because the business looks like it has so much potential. But based on my current experience, I would strongly advise others to be very careful before ordering from LN Watches.

I cannot recommend them.
