Unsafe and Unlivable Conditions at Live Easy Randburg

Dear Live Easy Management,

I am writing this with a heavy heart and deep concern about the living conditions and treatment I have experienced at Live Easy Randburg. What was presented as a professional, clean, and secure environment has turned out to be a devastating and unsafe experience, leaving me feeling anxious and disheartened.

Firstly, the building’s atmosphere is not conducive to professionals who work from home or maintain irregular hours. The constant noise, including loud parties in the ba*****t, disrupts any sense of peace or productivity. Despite living on the top floor, I can still hear the noise vividly. This lack of control over noise levels violates my basic right to quiet enjoyment of my home.

The reception staff’s attitude is equally disheartening. While they appear accommodating when leasing units, their rudeness and lack of accountability thereafter are appalling. Moreover, the cleanliness of the building is unacceptable; carpets are left dirty, and tenants are misled into believing they’ve been cleaned when they haven’t. This level of neglect is deeply concerning for a property of this caliber.

What’s even more distressing is the evident bribery culture, where tenants are forced to accept alternative units despite selecting specific ones. The property becomes filthy over weekends, and security personnel seem complicit, fraternizing with those causing disturbances rather than enforcing order.

Hygiene and health standards are severely compromised, with ****roach infestations posing serious health risks. On top of this, there is a blatant disregard for tenant privacy and security. Reports of unauthorized access to units by staff, alongside the presence of drugs and crime on the premises, are horrifying and make me feel unsafe in what should be my sanctuary.

To make matters worse, I have heard countless complaints from other tenants about the nightmare of trying to recover their deposits. I feel trapped in my lease, as the fear of losing my deposit prevents me from canceling despite the appalling conditions.

All of this has turned what should be a secure and welcoming environment into a living nightmare. This property is unsuitable for anyone, let alone families or children, due to the blatant disregard for safety, health, and tenant rights.

I urge you to address these issues immediately and restore the dignity, professionalism, and security that tenants were promised. I hope my concerns will be taken seriously, as no tenant should have to endure such treatment.
