Live Easy Randburg, Not returned my deposit! This is theft!

I am a absolutely livid,

I moved out of the Randburg (32 Hill street) branch on the 25th March 2020 due to lockdown was going to be in effect from the 26th March 2020 which coincided with termination date of the 31st March 2020.

I left the unit in good condition and handed the keys in.

I have been calling asking about my deposit refund I have sent numerous emails to accounts and my emails are ignored.

What I hate more than anything is that this lessor is not giving me back my rental deposit of R2800 with the same energy that they took it!!!

I was also told that my deposit will not be returned with savings account interest earned. As per the rental law rental deposits should be put into a savings account to grow with interest.

I must be the one who calls and no one calls me back!

It will be one month since the end of my lease and I still have not received my rental deposit back!

I have never been a problem tenet I have paid every rent due as per the rental statements sent to me by accounts department. There were even a months were I have had a credit balance on the rental statement due to me over paying as per rental statements on other months.

Why my rental deposit has not been paid back to me at this time is besides me.

The randburg live easy staff know how to contact me but choose not to!

This is so aggravating.
