Deposit forfeiture

The live easy websites states that tenants are allowed to transfer their lease, I followed this process, staying for 3 months at the first live easy apartment before transferring to another apartment to complete the remaining 9months of my lease. However , after submitting my notice, I was informed that I did not fulfil the full 12 months contract and therefore my deposit will be forfeited.
