Most Unproffessional Service Ever
So I am actually very ticked off with these people. They do your UIF claims so you don't have to stand in the long que's and waste time to receive your money when you go on maternity leave. I paid these people in end October last year to submit all my documents and do the whole process......we are sitting at the end of January 2018!! And not a Cent received! I send countless emails on a daily basis for feedback and all I get back is an automated email back saying I have to give them 3 to 5 days to get back to me as they have a back log in emails......when I do finally get a email back it's the same **** over and over advising there is a delay etc.... they NEVER answer your calls and don't even answer your WHATSAPP messages.... I read a post on Facebook the other day where a woman did her UIF herself and received her money....SO my question is WHERE is my money for the past 3 months and WHEN will I receive it....
Please do me a favour and share this post all over social media so we can prevent people from falling into the same trap as me!
Everything is updated on your claim and the claim was escalated before DOL’s closure for the festive season and again twice since they re-opened, all these times feedback was emailed.
The backlog on approval is with them. DOL was working on skeleton staff as from 16/12/2017 where they closed 22/12/2017 at 10:00am. Our offices also closed as from 22/12/2017 and reopened 08/01/2018 as stipulated and signed in your agreement. As for UIF the reopened from 03/01/2018 working on skeleton staff where the financial system was only turned back on 08/01/2018, still they were working on skeleton staff up until 15/01/2018. See why there are backlogs…
As previously mentioned employment history was a problem but that problem is now solved everything was updated with the documents we submitted, now all that must happen is approval and UIF needs to do that.
If you really want to understand UIF I suggest you watch the UIF insert that was on Carte Blanche end of Nov 2017.
One thing you have to understand is that if employment history at first is not correct you cannot blame anyone but that employer as they were not compliant with the labour law act. UIF goes much deeper than meets the eye.
Everyone is quick to blame DOL and or people assisting but who was really at fault. If you look at the agreement, we clearly stipulate we cannot be held responsible for your employers non-compliance. We do however promise to assist to the fullest to get this updated on the employers behalf.
No two claims are the same. And why? Because your employment is not the same, the company compliance is not the same so you cannot compare two claims with one another.
The fastest maternity approval we had was less than 48 working hours. Why, because employers knew what they were doing and they did want the law(act) required of them.
