Expired beers being sold at liquor city
Kindly note that the liquor city in South gate mall in jhb is selling expired Corona beers. I bought a box of Corona two weeks back and it got expired on the 27th of November which I took it up with the manager at the liquor city but they refused to assist me and I also took it up with the liquor city head office which they took my number but there's no help. I gave them their expired beers back and I'm going to take this matter to the SAB.

03 Dec 2020, 15:07Kindly note that they didn't give me any till slip but I got a speed point receipt which only shows the amount paid. If the sales rep wants to see the transaction, I can show them on my bank statement which reflects the transaction. I purchased a full box of Corona beers a week before it expired and I wasn't even aware that the beers were about to expire, if I knew I wasn't even going to buy something that was going to expire. I went to the store with the box which had some of the Corona beers inside it but the manager refused to assist me and I left that box with those beers inside the store.
