Ballito Liquor city - Horrible managers

This is for Ballito Liquor City - The store is crammed with boxes piled everywhere and I mistakenly knocked over a bottle that was perched on top of a pile of boxes - I was backing out of the fridge with a box of beer and the bottle I knocked off was right behind the fridge door at knee height . If you leave bottles unsecured in a crammed store it invariably will get knocked over . Anyway , i made my may to the till amidst staff shouting about a customer knocked over a bottle . Then the manager aggressively shouted from her raised platform behind the tills , that i must pay for the wine - I did not get her name , but she has some sort of bleached orange hair . I said i am not paying for a bottle that was not safely secured and it was a complete accident - It was not like i had the item in my hand and dropped it . Then the eye rolling and smirking started . Totally disrespectful and an unpleasant experience . The male manager was totally ineffective and condescending and said sarcastically that he would then pay for it himself . The management of this store need some customer relation training and better stock storage on the floor . I have been going to this store for 7 years and after this shoddy and unprofessional treatment , i will not be going back . As a man of 55 years old , i will not be spoken to in such a disrespectful manner . I know nothing will come of this , as everyone buys booze and why bother about customer relations when they are loads more fish in the sea , but you have to vent somehow :)
